2022 Tax Rate
The Board of Directors has
determined that additional funds are required by the District
during the coming year for maintaining, repairing, and operating
District plants, facilities and improvements and for paying
costs of proper services and administrative expenses.
For 2022 the Property Tax rate has been lowered to $0.23872 per $100 valuation.

Electronic billing (eBill) Now Available
Electronic billing (eBill) is now available to HCMUD 179 customers.
Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 179 was created in 1979. Harris County MUD No. 179 delivers water and treats wastewater for more than 250
single family residential households in the Copperfield Subdivisions of Easton Commons. In addition, there are five apartment complexes and over 100
commercial business in the District. Over five thousand residents and businesses are served by the District.
